About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and deploy AI-powered applications connecting source data, models, APIs and enterprise systems to users
  • Write, test, review and maintain code using Python, TypeScript, Java or .NET
  • Understand operational challenges and translate user needs into practical technical solutions
  • Connect applications to APIs, identity systems, cloud platforms and existing business systems
  • Build and integrate LLM, RAG or agentic capabilities with evaluation, guardrails, reliability and cost controls
  • Take technical responsibility for production deployment, resolve integration issues and support adoption
  • Iterate quickly as requirements and priorities evolve while maintaining technical quality
  • Measure whether solutions deliver intended outcomes and identify improvements
  • Document results, lessons learned and emerging requirements for future iterations or scaling
  • Collaborate directly with clients, users, technical peers and senior stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience building and deploying software solutions in production within complex enterprise or client environments
  • Strong hands-on software engineering skills, with continuing coding in Python, TypeScript, Java or .NET
  • Experience delivering solutions end-to-end, from data sources and integrations to applications used by end users
  • Direct client-facing experience with users, technical peers and senior stakeholders
  • Strong integration experience involving APIs, identity and access, enterprise systems and cloud environments
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Practical software engineering, debugging, testing and production deployment skills
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into applications, including LLMs, RAG or agentic workflows in production
  • Understanding of API design, authentication, authorisation, SSO/OAuth2 and enterprise integration patterns
  • Ability to work with imperfect requirements and adapt solutions as new information emerges
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Nice to have: experience across data engineering, data platforms or analytics
  • Nice to have: experience evaluating AI output quality, implementing guardrails and measuring AI workload costs
  • Nice to have: experience in consulting, technology services or embedded client delivery
  • Nice to have: experience in iterative delivery environments
