About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure in the Roseville office
  • Support day-to-day facility operations
  • Operate Building Automation Systems (BAS) to monitor energy usage and system performance
  • Operate and support building access and safety control systems in collaboration with IT
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain heating, cooling, ventilation, refrigeration, chillers, boilers, and air-handling units
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on HVAC, boilers, chillers, electrical panels, plumbing, and fire/life safety systems
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, lighting, carpentry, flooring, walls, and electrical equipment
  • Implement, track, and perform scheduled maintenance
  • Optimize equipment performance to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs
  • Oversee external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, including OSHA and EPA requirements
  • Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and inspections
  • Manage the budget for Roseville Office facility-related projects
  • Respond to urgent and after-hours maintenance requests
  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized mechanical rooms and work areas
  • Participate in and potentially lead construction and vendor management for new-build and renovation projects
  • Provide general home-service support such as hanging whiteboards and moving cabinets
  • Assist with HVAC system testing, functional performance evaluations, troubleshooting, and technical field activities for client facilities
  • Participate in internal and external training
  • Obtain and maintain technical certifications as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma
  • Three plus years of experience in building operations, building maintenance, facilities management, or a related technical field
  • Strong understanding, aptitude and proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems operations and maintenance
  • Experience operating building automation and access control systems
  • Prior experience with building safety requirements
  • Vendor management and construction coordination skills
  • Proficiency using hand and power tools, reading blueprints/schematics, and using building automation systems
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces or extreme temperatures
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Familiarity with Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with tenants, management, and staff
  • Willingness to learn and build on skill sets
  • Ability to travel domestically less than 5% if needed
  • Position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship
