About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Validate functional behavior of security devices
- Validate device behavior across normal operation, fault conditions, power-up, reset, and recovery scenarios
- Verify battery performance and power consumption profiles
- Perform environmental and robustness testing
- Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence
- Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation
- Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams
- Join the R&D organization to validate security sensors and peripheral devices across wired and wireless portfolios
- Participate in the recruitment process, including an initial call and up to two interviews if selected
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree in Electronics or related technical field
- Experience in Quality Assurance domain
- Experience in Quality Assurance for hardware, embedded, or electromechanical products
- Hands-on experience with device-level testing in lab and/or field environments
- Ability to translate product and system requirements into effective test scenarios
- Strong attention to physical, behavioral, and usability edge cases
- Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice
- Analytical, data-driven approach to testing and reporting
- Clear communication and documentation skills
- Good command of English language (in writing and speech)
- Test automation skills using Python
- ISTQB certificate
- Experience in Atlassian toolchain usage
- Experience with EN 50131 or similar standards
- Experience in intrusion, detection or access domain
