About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Validate RF-based communication, including long-range low-power alarm signaling and high-throughput image and audio transmission
Execute RF performance and robustness tests
Test addressable and hybrid installations, including device addressing, enrollment, and topology handling
Test protocol behaviors, including protocol coexistence and prioritization
Support development of automation-based test solutions and validation setups
Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence
Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation
Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or related technical field
Strong experience in Quality Assurance domain
Experience in wireless systems validation, bus-based systems or hardware-related products testing (focused on communication)
Experience with performance-oriented testing (latency, range, throughput)
Practical knowledge of Sub-GHz radio systems, RF protocols, or IoT communication
Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice
Analytical, data-driven approach to testing and reporting
Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including usage of debugging logs, traces, serial output
Good command of English language in writing and speech
Test automation skills using Python
ISTQB certificate
Experience in Atlassian toolchain usage
Experience with EN 50131 or similar standards
Experience in intrusion, detection or access domain
Willingness to relocate to Gdańsk, Poland
