About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Validate RF-based communication, including long-range low-power alarm signaling and high-throughput image and audio transmission
- Execute RF performance and robustness tests
- Test addressable and hybrid installations, including device addressing, enrollment, and topology handling
- Test protocol behaviors, including protocol coexistence and prioritization
- Support development of automation-based test solutions and validation setups
- Support compliance readiness for EN 50131 through structured test evidence
- Create and maintain test plans, test reports, and defect documentation
- Collaborate daily with R&D engineers, product management, and compliance teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or related technical field
- Strong experience in Quality Assurance domain
- Experience in wireless systems validation, bus-based systems or hardware-related products testing focused on communication
- Experience with performance-oriented testing, including latency, range, and throughput
- Practical knowledge of Sub-GHz radio systems, RF protocols, or IoT communication
- Knowledge of QA processes, methods and tools and ability to use them in practice
- Analytical, data-driven approach to testing and reporting
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, including usage of debugging logs, traces, and serial output
- Good command of English language in writing and speech
- Test automation skills using Python
- ISTQB certificate
- Experience in Atlassian toolchain usage
- Experience with EN 50131 or similar standards
- Experience in intrusion, detection or access domain
- Willingness to relocate to Gdańsk, Poland
