About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and maintain planogram database, distribute schematics, and coordinate updates to optimize product placement, improve category flow, and maximize sales performance
- Provide strategic and tactical recommendations on product placement, distribution, planogramming, and merchandising
- Partner with Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Trade teams on new product introductions, launch strategies, sell-in materials, and promotional activation
- Collaborate on marketing collateral and presentations for field communication
- Support national and account-level promotions, ensuring accurate execution across channels
- Coordinate brand, media, and product initiatives with customers, including displays, signage, and packaging
- Assist with promotional and customer event calendar management
- Represent the customer perspective to internal teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of experience in trade / channel management
- 3+ years of experience in planning and executing planograms, promotions, and customer specific projects, including product line reviews and new product introductions
- Trade / channel management experience in home improvement retail, club, big box, and e-commerce distribution channels
- Planogram development and space planning experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional partners as well as the customer
- Self-sufficient detail-oriented multi-tasker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience in selling and/or marketing safety or building products categories
