Requirements
What you’ll need- 1L law student applying for the 2027 Summer Program or 2L law student applying for the 2028 Summer Program
- Demonstrated academic achievement
- Meaningful involvement and leadership in extracurricular activities
- For Patent Prosecution roles, a degree in a relevant technical field is required: Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry (Inorganic/Organic)
- Advanced STEM degrees are highly encouraged
- Resume required
- Cover letter required, including preferred office locations and practice areas
- Law school transcript required once available
- Technical transcript(s) required if applying for patent roles
- Writing sample optional but preferred
