About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work with Planners and Program Management to understand demand requirements
Support production by reviewing and responding to shortage notices, including shortage notification, containment, and reject email forms
Work with Strategic Sourcing to negotiate terms, prices, and conditions for product purchases as needed
Work with suppliers to promote continuous improvement in pricing, delivery, and service, maintaining flexibility for customers
Train on the Aera portal system and processes, including rules underlying buy actions
Understand KEJ supply chain and strategies
Navigate Aera and SAP to complete assigned weekly buys
Show PPV gains
Identify opportunities for improvement in procurement processes
Take on additional buys
Complete special projects as defined by business need
Assist with material shortage and what-if reviews as needed
Stay current on past-due purchase orders
Assist with lead-time and VMI reviews as needed
