About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Report to the Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer
Work with cybersecurity professionals across the global organization
Gain hands-on experience in security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, security awareness, and risk management
Assist with monitoring and triaging security alerts and events
Gain familiarity with vulnerability management processes and remediation activities
Learn incident response procedures and cybersecurity investigation techniques
Participate in cybersecurity projects that improve the organization's security posture
Help identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and operational efficiencies
Develop practical experience with enterprise security tools and technologies
Understand cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance requirements
Assist with vulnerability assessment and remediation tracking
Support security awareness and phishing simulation campaigns and email-related event remediation
Assist with developing PowerShell or other automation scripts for cybersecurity operations
Participate in incident response investigations and documentation development
Review SOC daily low-severity reports
Support IAM projects

Requirements

What you’ll need

Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity through coursework, certifications, labs, projects, or extracurricular activities
Basic understanding of Windows operating systems and networking concepts
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Strong desire to learn and adapt in a rapidly changing technology landscape
