About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for the overall performance and all phases of property management for a portfolio of properties
- Oversee preparation and implementation of operating budgets
- Evaluate budget performance
- Oversee tenant improvements
- Oversee capital improvements
- Oversee maintenance and repair projects
- Coordinate company-wide initiatives and programs
- Interface with leasing, development, accounting, construction, and finance departments
- Coordinate with third-party vendors
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 5 years of experience as a retail commercial property manager
- Ability to travel regularly
- Experience in commercial facility maintenance and property management accounting
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Bachelor degree or equivalent, relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial real estate
- Strong knowledge of commercial facility maintenance practices
- Strong knowledge of property management accounting standards and systems
- Strong financial aptitude
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Creative problem-solving ability
- Technology-forward mindset with strong curiosity for merging tools, AI in particular
- A professional designation such as CSM, CPM, or CCIM is preferred
