About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with business stakeholders, developers, administrators, and solution architects to understand business processes and translate requirements into scalable technology solutions
- Assist with administration and support of enterprise applications including Salesforce and other go-to-market business-critical platforms
- Support day-to-day ticket operations by triaging and resolving incidents, service requests, enhancements, and user inquiries
- Participate in requirements gathering, business process analysis, impact assessments, testing, and solution validation
- Assist in configuration, testing, and deployment of low-code solutions and automation initiatives
- Create and maintain application documentation, knowledge articles, user guides, and training materials
- Collaborate with Agile delivery teams through backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release activities
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions to gather feedback and document action items
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and optimize business processes
- Provide user support, troubleshooting, and training for enterprise applications
- Contribute to special projects and strategic initiatives as required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently enrolled in Software Engineering, Information Systems, Business Technology Management, Engineering, or a related program
- Must be currently enrolled in full-time education or be a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date
- Strong interest in business systems, software delivery, enterprise applications, and technology-enabled business transformation
- Experience working with or learning low-code/no-code platforms such as Salesforce or similar technologies
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure development and support environment with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to investigate issues, identify root causes, and recommend solutions
- Comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to clearly document requirements, processes, and findings
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated, curious, and eager to learn new technologies and business processes
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and a customer-focused mindset
- Experience with Agile methodologies, user story management, testing, or software development lifecycle concepts is an asset
- Salesforce experience in administration, automations, reports, dashboards, security, or development is an asset
- Salesforce Trailhead badges, Superbadges, or certifications are an asset
- Experience working in a software development, application support, or IT delivery team is an asset
- Experience with release management processes is an asset
- Experience supporting business-critical applications in a corporate environment is an asset
- Must work from the Ottawa office at least three days a week
