About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide administrative and coordination support for HR projects, programs, meetings, and day-to-day activities
- Support Talent Programs, including performance, talent reviews, learning, career development, and leadership initiatives
- Assist with research, data analysis, reporting, presentations, employee communications, and program materials
- Support Employee Relations activities through documentation, resources, reporting, and trend analysis
- Identify opportunities to simplify, streamline, and improve HR processes and ways of working
- Maintain HR resources, process documentation, tools, and program materials
- Work collaboratively across HR while independently managing assigned activities and follow-ups
Requirements
What you’ll need- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Currently enrolled in full-time education or a recent/upcoming graduate within 12 months of the placement end date
- Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently, taking initiative, and managing multiple priorities
- High degree of personal integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information
- Curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working with data and technology
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Interest in HR technology and AI
- Must be in the Ottawa or Toronto office at least three days a week
