About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage end-to-end selection processes, including requisition management, position descriptions, recruitment strategy, candidate selection, reference and background checks, salary negotiations, and onboarding facilitation
- Conduct recruitment strategy meetings with hiring managers using market intelligence
- Develop and implement global recruitment, interviewing, selection, and strategic onboarding processes
- Advise, coach, and train hiring managers on recruitment, interview techniques, selection criteria, and candidate management
- Support diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies across talent acquisition activities and customize approaches across time zones and cultures
- Supervise, train, coach, and mentor junior recruiters
- Assess recruitment and onboarding effectiveness and improve processes using feedback, data, and best practices
- Develop creative sourcing ideas and innovative recruiting techniques
- Manage applicant tracking systems and consultant databases
- Monitor industry trends and enhance recruitment processes
- Network through industry contacts, professional associations, groups, and employees
- Manage candidate communication and relationships throughout the recruitment lifecycle
- Educate candidates about Kinaxis culture, benefits, and position expectations
- Manage external recruiting sources, vendor agreements, candidate submissions, and invoice processing
- Represent Kinaxis to candidates and maintain communication to build long-term relationships
- Leverage data to inform strategic global hiring decisions and contribute to talent acquisition programs, tools, guidelines, and processes
Requirements
What you’ll need- Post-secondary degree in Human Resources (or related field)
- 10+ years of experience in progressively senior talent acquisition roles, in-house preferred
- Experience supporting a broad range of teams, especially Product and Engineering positions
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high sense of urgency and an inventive approach to ambiguity and complex issues
- Highly adaptable and able to pivot based on business prioritization and needs
- Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple information sources
- Clear, concise, and professional communication skills, including presenting information to stakeholders at varying levels
- Excellent data analysis skills and ability to present analyses in a useful and understandable format
- Strong work ethic, confidentiality, professional judgment, and initiative
- Accountability and responsibility to meet aggressive deadlines
- Experience performing the end-to-end recruitment cycle in a high-growth environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and passion for data-driven decision-making
- Knowledge of recruiting database systems, including applicant tracking systems
- Ability to influence and negotiate
- Ability to balance a high number of open positions across global teams, departments, and locations
- Strong business acumen linking business drivers to hiring needs
- Strong customer service orientation and attention to confidential information
- Self-starter demonstrating total quality in assignments
- Knowledge of employment and related legislation, including Human Rights Code and Employment Standards Act
- Knowledge of immigration/work permit authorization
- Strong sourcing capabilities using social networks, research tools, and creative techniques
- Strong interviewing and assessment skills, including behavioural interviewing techniques
- Ability to drive and manage the full recruitment cycle
