About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Answer customer calls and emails and assess customer needs
  • Schedule product installations and service calls
  • Ensure Service Technician documentation is complete
  • Proactively contact customers about ancillary services, product sales, and service offerings
  • Prepare out-of-warranty letters to solicit interest in product or service upgrades
  • Log customer calls and email conversations in the CRM and perform to metrics
  • Maintain product installation and warranty information in the applicable database
  • Perform counter sales and assist retail-store customers with product purchases
  • Complete work orders after confirming pricing and sales information
  • Provide backup support to in-house sales and service employees
  • Assist Technicians to ensure satisfactory customer service
  • Maintain a clean and safe work and retail environment
  • Balance process work with proactive customer outreach and manage competing priorities
  • Report to the Operations Manager, Corporate Dealers, and interact with employees, customers, and outside vendors

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience working in a customer service-oriented role
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Must be professional, show initiative, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, goal oriented, and above average organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and flexibility to change priorities as needed
  • Proven customer-centric focus and understanding of customer service
  • Comfortable making cold calls to customers and developing leads
  • Strong interpersonal, written, grammar, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including proficient abilities with Word and Excel
  • Dependable and have integrity
  • Knowledge of business, administrative, and clerical procedures and systems
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States, as employment authorization is verified for individuals hired in the United States
