About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work as a Resident Engineer stationed directly at a customer site
  • Service Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues
  • Conduct preventative maintenance and essential fleet check-ups
  • Ensure customer equipment operates at peak efficiency
  • Build strong customer relationships and deliver exceptional service and support
  • Support customer operations and maintain Linde’s product reputation
  • Work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, night work only

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience as a vehicle technician or mechanical engineer
  • Forklift technician, plant fitter, plant technician, or vehicle technician experience particularly relevant
  • Experience with plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners highly desirable
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification ideally, but not essential
  • Comfortable using IT equipment for accurate records and placing orders
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Comfortable working autonomously and within a team
