About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support Sales Operations and Opportunity Management by opening, updating, and managing Salesforce opportunities
  • Assist Account Managers with Salesforce administration, Below the Line opportunity support, RSPL coordination, customer follow-up, and workload balancing
  • Prepare order bookings, pricing breakouts, quotes, documentation, and internal handoffs
  • Track and follow up on customer leads, internal referrals, and small-scale requests
  • Participate in site visits, gather scope details, research installed systems, and coordinate with internal teams to define customer needs and next steps
  • Manage regional, small-scale, or assigned opportunities to support workload balance and customer responsiveness
  • Help ensure customer requests are acknowledged, routed, and supported in a timely manner
  • Develop toward future Regional Account Manager responsibilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Entry-level Sales role; prior experience in sales support, customer service, business administration, operations, logistics, manufacturing, or a technical/industrial environment is helpful but not required
  • Interest in building a career in sales, account management, customer support, or lifecycle services within an automation or material handling environment
  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) in Business, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience or demonstrated aptitude may be considered
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce preferred
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and follow up consistently
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration across sales, service, parts, pricing, and operations teams
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn Dematic’s sales processes, lifecycle offerings, internal tools, and customer engagement model
  • Initiative, professionalism, and desire to develop into broader sales responsibilities
