About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide legal counsel to domestic and international clients on M&A and venture capital transactions, as well as routine corporate matters in Brazil
  • Draft a variety of corporate documents, including amendments to articles of association, bylaws, quotaholders’ and shareholders’ agreements, asset and equity purchase agreements, documents related to corporate reorganizations, and general commercial agreements
  • Coordinate corporate filings, corporate registry updates, and procedures before public authorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Attorney admitted to the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB), with admission obtained between 2018 and 2019
  • Solid experience in Corporate Law and M&A
  • Knowledge of or experience with venture capital transactions is a plus
  • Previous experience at a law firm
  • Fluent English
  • Postgraduate degree and/or specialization in a related field is a plus
