About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide legal advice to Brazilian and international clients on Brazilian corporate matters and day-to-day issues
  • Coordinate M&A transactions, including drafting agreements and other documents, as well as conducting and coordinating due diligence
  • Draft and review a variety of corporate documents, including shareholders’ agreements, corporate reorganizations, and other general documents
  • Coordinate registrations and corporate record updates with government authorities
  • Work collaboratively with other legal practice groups to provide integrated corporate advice in multidisciplinary transactions
  • Contribute technical expertise to the development of the team by mentoring junior professionals and promoting technical alignment with the firm’s strategic approach
  • Maintain a technically rigorous and responsible approach when working with clients, providing clear, practical, and legally sound solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, with active registration with the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) obtained between 2016 and 2017
  • Strong experience in Corporate Law and M&A, with demonstrated involvement in complex domestic and international transactions
  • In-depth knowledge of Brazilian corporate law, M&A practices, and business contracts
  • Prior experience at a law firm
  • Excellent technical legal drafting and client communication skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and technical presentation skills
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Ethical, strategic, and collaborative professional with a high degree of autonomy, accountability, and a focus on efficient, tailored legal solutions
