About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsibility for the Hyper-V cluster infrastructure, including performance optimization
Administration and further development of Microsoft SCVMM
Capacity planning for the virtualization environment
Administration of Windows Server systems, as well as critical application and database servers
Execution of operating system upgrades
Further development of the storage and SAN infrastructure
Data backup and execution of recovery scenarios
Planning and implementation of high-availability and disaster recovery concepts
Technical support for critical hospital applications and specialist systems
Support with updates, migrations, and release changes
Assessment of technical impacts on clinical processes
Participation in the planning and operation of data center infrastructure
Support and administration of network, cluster, and server hardware
Analysis and resolution of complex infrastructure incidents

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (m/f/d)
Experience administering FortiGate firewalls, along with solid networking knowledge
Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SCCM/Intune, Exchange, and Windows Server administration
Very good spoken and written German skills (minimum C1 level)
Solution-oriented and independent approach to work
Strong customer focus and good communication skills
Willingness to continuously learn new skills and technologies
