About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administer and support the IT infrastructure, particularly the Windows server environment and virtualized VMware environments
- Plan, update, expand, and troubleshoot the network infrastructure
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software in the network and server environments
- Handle support requests at headquarters and, when required, at company locations
- Ensure IT security through firewall management, antivirus protection, and data backups
- Plan and implement IT projects, including system migrations, rollouts, and infrastructure optimization
- Create and maintain IT documentation, system overviews, and manuals
- Analyze, isolate, and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
- Collaborate with external service providers and manufacturers to resolve technical issues and further develop systems
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or an equivalent qualification
- Good knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft Active Directory, SQL Server, Terminal Services, Microsoft Intune, and Office applications
- Experience with VMware and Cisco products
- Advanced technical knowledge of hardware and software environments
- Analytical, reliable, and independent approach to work
- Commitment, resilience, a high degree of flexibility, and a structured approach to work
- Strong teamworking skills and a confident professional manner
- Willingness to travel occasionally to company locations
- Category B driving licence
