About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare accurate and timely electrical cost estimates
Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
Use Accubid and Bluebeam to create detailed cost breakdowns
Analyze project scopes and develop comprehensive material and labor estimates
Research and obtain pricing for materials, equipment, and subcontractor services
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for competitive pricing
Present cost estimates to management and clients
Participate in pre-bid meetings and required site visits
Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and related documentation
Complete estimates on time and in line with client expectations and company standards
Travel up to 20%

Requirements

What you’ll need

Industrial Electrical or Data Center experience - REQUIRED
Experience level in electrical estimating is flexible; proactive and eager learners are welcome
Experience with estimating software, including Accubid/Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge of electrical construction methods, materials, and processes
Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and walk, including for long periods
Must be authorized to work in the United States through E-Verify
