About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct telemedicine consultations for patients with sleep-related complaints or disorders, ensuring appropriate clinical assessment
Identify and monitor conditions such as insomnia, sleep–wake rhythm disorders, and other sleep disorders
Develop guidance and therapeutic follow-up plans tailored to each patient’s needs
Ensure the quality and accuracy of clinical records, including consultation details, diagnoses, and follow-up plans
Ensure the completion of clinical procedures associated with telemedicine, including, where applicable, electronic prescribing, ordering of diagnostic tests, and issuing medical certificates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed specialization in Neurology or currently undertaking specialty training in Neurology (mandatory requirement)
Active registration with the Portuguese Medical Association (Ordem dos Médicos)
Clinical experience in Sleep Medicine
Ability to conduct assessment and follow-up consultations for sleep disorders, with an appropriate level of autonomy based on training and professional competencies
Comfortable using digital platforms
Empathetic, clear, and personable communication skills
Strong sense of responsibility, autonomy, and clinical rigor
