Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Currently attending an accredited college or university
  • Mechanical Engineering major; Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering with a dual major or minor in Electrical or Computer Engineering preferred
  • Advanced mechatronic and/or automation concept R&D
  • Additive manufacturing experience
  • Test fixture concept design and fabrication, including hardware and software
  • Additive manufacturing standards evaluation from ASTM, SAE and ISO
  • Experience with Creo or SolidWorks
  • Instrumentation of simple electronic systems
  • Knowledge of FMEA and Six Sigma methods
  • Understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with MATLAB and Minitab
  • Hands-on skills with mechanical tools and shop work
  • Knowledge of HTML/Visual Basic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher
