About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the processing of accident claims
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients
  • Act as a liaison between the hospital and Knowtion Health
  • Liaise with hospital-related physician offices to ensure open and mutual communication
  • Liaise with insurance payers to encourage prompt payment
  • Remotely obtain information and documents regarding the entity responsible for payment of patients’ hospital bills or claims
  • Verify and fulfill attorney requests
  • Learn and implement client-specific protocols and procedures
  • Escalate complex, complicated, or challenging accounts to management to ensure accounts progress effectively
  • Work independently and collaboratively with Knowtion Health colleagues and client staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1+ years' experience working with EMR/EHR systems required; EPIC software preferred
  • 1+ years' experience registering patients in a hospital/provider group setting required
  • Experience with MVA claims or health claims including Medicare preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong computer proficiency
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
  • Must provide a valid government-issued photo ID during screening and/or interviews
  • Candidates prioritized in AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, ME, MI, MO, MS, NC, NM, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, or WV
