Negotiate and close synchronization requests, ensuring rights are cleared accurately and efficiently with fair terms and fees for licenses originating in North America
Build, develop, and maintain relationships with music supervisors and licensees
Communicate with Kobalt clients, including songwriters, artists, and representatives, to provide advice and obtain approval for license requests
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to troubleshoot split discrepancies and overcome licensing obstacles
Collaborate on forward-thinking projects advancing business objectives
Manage direct reports, ensuring individual and team goals are met and personal development is fostered
Build internal relationships, learn Kobalt workflows, and clear sync opportunities
Manage a customer base, anticipate client expectations, and contribute to key projects
Drive revenue and contribute to important initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive sync clearance experience and sophisticated knowledge of music licensing and copyright
Deadline-driven approach with ability to prioritize and facilitate large volumes of work efficiently
Adaptable communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external parties
Solution-oriented mindset
Strong proficiency with G-Suite, Microsoft Office, Excel, presentation tools, and email
Experience managing direct reports (additional skill that could add value)
