About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and evolve AWS architecture to support user and developer growth
- Implement and maintain infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
- Develop POCs and stay up to date with emerging technologies
- Ensure platform availability, including through incident management and recovery automation
- Optimize application performance and database management
- Define and enforce security standards covering encryption, access management, and log retention
- Ensure infrastructure process compliance in a demanding fintech environment
- Partner closely with Engineering Managers to gather requirements and align on technical decisions
- Document and promote Ops best practices
- Participate in technical and business interviews and discussions with teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps or Cloud Engineer for a Mid-level profile, or 5+ years for a Senior profile
- Strong interest and experience in Ops / Infrastructure
- Significant experience with one or more cloud solutions: AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, OVH, Scaleway, etc.
- Knowledge of security and compliance practices
- Ability to analyze performance and optimize costs
- Strong collaboration and technical communication skills
- Successful candidates will be required to provide a criminal record extract (Bulletin No. 3)
- Where applicable, successful candidates will be required to provide a valid residence permit
- Professional integrity and background check
