About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage requirement handling throughout the complete development cycle
Develop system concepts in collaboration with subsystem owners
Manage customer expectations and required approvals
Organize tasks with team members and align deliverables with the project manager
Review technical concepts in collaboration with the product owner
Participate in activities required by development processes and standards
Collaborate closely with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams located around the globe
Maintain and share knowledge throughout the project team and skills
Work closely with customers, suppliers, and global engineering teams from concept to production
Translate customer agreements into executable actions for the engineering team and supplier network

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher technical education (Bachelor / Master) in mechatronic, electronic and/or software
Relevant experience in product development
Knowledge of automotive systems, including transmission and powertrain, actuation, and chassis
Interest in automotive innovation including electric powertrain, autonomous driving, and vehicle safety
Goal oriented, structured, and independent, while open and team focused
Good collaboration skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
Communication skills in English and at least one more European language
Position is based in Kongsberg, Norway technical center
