About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop mechanical designs for healthcare machinery and equipment using specialized software to create and model parts
  • Create 3D models
  • Prepare 2D drawings
  • Monitor the manufacturing process for electromedical equipment
  • Prepare project change documentation and documentation for new projects in accordance with the R&D and Innovation (PDI) process
  • Specify instruments and tools
  • Perform tests and verifications in accordance with the procedures established by the PDI department
  • Visit customers and suppliers
  • Inspect parts
  • Register items in the system
  • Submit purchase requests for materials and parts
  • Perform related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor
  • Develop and deliver in-person training and training via voice and/or video through the intranet, social media, conferences, or trade shows
  • Comply with occupational health and safety programs and standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Intermediate English proficiency
  • SolidWorks
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics (preferred)
  • Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes (preferred)
  • Participation in student project teams (BAJA, CEFAST, etc.) (preferred)
