About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify and update cost estimates for goods and report new product costs against the target budget
  • Support customer quotation and proposal activities by establishing baseline product costs
  • Ensure communication among stakeholders to achieve cost targets
  • Monitor the market value and availability of raw materials
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Commodity Management, and other stakeholders to select new suppliers
  • Establish and maintain supplier relationships, improve costs and quality, and reduce risks
  • Analyze and improve supply chain processes to reduce costs and lead times
  • Collaborate with Product Development, Production, and Logistics teams to develop new product launch plans
  • Support the team and electronics manufacturing partners in meeting production ramp-up schedules for products under development
  • Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Coordinate meetings and conference calls with global partners
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects
  • Perform other related duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • 8 years of experience in the electronics supply chain industry
  • Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Knowledge of AS9102 standards
  • Knowledge of the electrical, avionics, defense, and telecommunications industries
  • Knowledge of SAP, CalcuQuote, and WayRTS
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings
  • French and English, both spoken and written; functional proficiency in both languages is required
  • Self-motivated and confident
  • Strong ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to perform effectively under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Flexible with excellent communication skills
