About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support for PM100, PM80, PM100T, and PM80T equipment within the Asset Protection Program
- Monitor and support preventive maintenance activities
- Review machine condition, performance, and maintenance findings to identify reliability concerns
- Help ensure APP maintenance standards, procedures, and documentation requirements are followed
- Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and operational issues
- Diagnose machine failures, identify root causes, and implement or recommend corrective actions
- Support breakdown response, recovery, and safe return to production
- Perform test and tune activities on Koerber single rod makers
- Evaluate machine settings and operating conditions and make adjustments to improve quality, efficiency, and stability
- Support APP objectives focused on protecting customer assets, improving uptime, and sustaining equipment performance
- Maintain clear shift handoff notes and communicate open issues, risks, and required follow-up actions to customers and internal teams
- Work independently during overnight operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical degree, apprenticeship, or formal training in mechanical, industrial, or maintenance technology preferred
- Hands-on technical experience supporting PM100, PM80, PM100T, and PM80T platforms, APP equipment, and related customer support activities required
- Strong demonstrated experience performing test and tune activities on Koerber single rod makers required
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for mechanical, pneumatic, and operational equipment issues required
- Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes, and support corrective actions
- Experience with continuous improvement and reliability-centered maintenance practices preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, machine drawings, schematics, and maintenance documentation required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and computerized maintenance or service documentation systems preferred
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills required
- Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions during overnight operations
- Availability to work C Shift, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday through Friday
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift equipment or components as required
- Ability to work safely in an operating manufacturing environment while complying with applicable safety requirements
- Occasional travel may be required to support customer locations or APP activities
