About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the delivery of client engagements
- Drive input from internal teams and external advisers
- Provide subject matter expertise
- Provide technical oversight of approaches
- Lead teams responsible for model development and analysis
- Support product development, analytics and modelling for strategic decision-making, service transformation and investment decisions
- Deliver strategic options appraisal, demand modelling, workforce modelling, financial modelling, business case development, population health analytics, benefits realisation and value-for-money assessments
- Ensure production of high-quality documentation and presentations
- Lead and contribute to proposals
- Develop client relationships and identify opportunities to grow existing and new client accounts
- Develop sector-specific market intelligence
- Introduce new ideas to the team and inspire others
- Manage engagement administration, compliance and risk
- Manage performance, coach and mentor managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience of advisory and healthcare as a sector
- Ideally, understanding of adjacent sectors such as social care and local authorities
- Experience in economic modelling, financial analysis, demand and capacity analysis, and/or population health management analytics
- Understanding of how generative AI, data platforms, and advanced analytics enhance insight generation, modelling, scenario planning and productivity
- Strong knowledge and understanding of health sector datasets
- Experience quality assuring or developing analysis using large datasets
- Experience with data presentation and visual storytelling, such as interactive dashboarding tools
- Understanding of product development lifecycle
- Strong report writing experience supporting senior stakeholder decision-making
- Experience of service transformation, benefits quantification, or value-for-money analysis
- Experience presenting to senior management or executive teams
- Project management experience for major transformation programmes
- Familiarity with public procurement processes
- Ability to identify and contribute to solving problems independently
