About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain configuration items, baselines and version records for software and documentation
Manage source code repositories, branches and builds
Track change requests and record their status through approval and release
Support release and deployment activities
Prepare configuration status reports and support audits
Follow and help improve configuration management procedures
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
2+ years of configuration management, release or build experience
Experience with version control tools such as Git, Subversion or ClearCase
Familiarity with change management and release processes
Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps preferred
ITIL Foundation certification preferred
Experience supporting federal government contracts preferred
