About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary point of contact with the client's Contracting Officer and Contracting Officer's Representative
- Oversee all work performed under the contract and ensure deliverables meet requirements
- Manage program budget, staffing, schedule and resource allocation
- Monitor performance against contract terms, service levels and quality standards
- Identify risks and issues and lead mitigation efforts
- Prepare and present program status reports and briefings
- Support contract modifications, option periods and new work opportunities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field required
- 10+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years managing programs or contracts
- Experience managing federal government contracts and client relationships
- Experience managing budgets, staffing and multiple project teams
- Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Continual use of common office equipment including computers, phones, scanners and printers
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification preferred
- Experience with Agile program delivery preferred
