About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain the Quality Assurance Plan and QA procedures
  • Review deliverables, code and documentation for compliance with standards and requirements
  • Plan and lead functional, regression and system testing
  • Design test cases and build automated tests where practical
  • Track defects and quality metrics and report trends
  • Conduct process audits and recommend corrective actions
  • Mentor testers and QA staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field required
  • 4+ years of software quality assurance experience
  • Experience developing QA plans, test strategies and test cases
  • Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM or Azure DevOps
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Ability to use common office equipment including computers, phones, scanners and printers
  • ISTQB or Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) certification preferred
  • Experience with CMMI or ISO quality frameworks preferred
  • Experience supporting federal government contracts preferred
