Key responsibilities & impact

Designs, develops and tests software features and fixes
Builds and maintains APIs, services and database interactions
Writes unit and integration tests
Participates in code reviews and design discussions
Troubleshoots defects and supports production issues
Participates in sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
Documents code and technical changes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field required
3+ years of software engineering experience
Experience with Java, C#, Python or a similar language
Experience with SQL and relational databases
Experience with Git and Agile development practices
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Continually required to use common office equipment including but not limited to computers, phones, scanners and printers
Preferred: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Preferred: Experience with front-end frameworks such as Angular or React
Preferred: Experience supporting federal government contracts
