Facilitate clear and accurate communication between English- and Spanish-speaking individuals
Provide consecutive interpretation in medical, social service, customer care, and financial settings
Deliver professional, impartial, confidential, and accurate interpretation
Work in a blended Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) role
Handle calls and remain available in the queue during eligible logged-in hours
Complete recruitment, technical verification, and client onboarding requirements before the assigned start date

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least six months of verifiable professional experience providing remote English-Spanish OPI and/or VRI interpretation
Advanced English fluency at a minimum C1 level, with strong spoken and written communication skills
Native or native-level Spanish fluency
Ability to deliver accurate, complete, impartial, and professional consecutive interpretation
Strong knowledge of medical, financial, and social service terminology
Understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA-related requirements
Excellent attention to detail, active listening, emotional composure, and ability to remain neutral in sensitive situations
Commitment to attendance, schedule adherence, quality standards, and established operating procedures
Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional environment
Reliable wired internet connection with Ethernet cable connected directly to router or modem; Wi-Fi is not permitted
Approved, client-compatible USB headset; Bluetooth headsets, mono headsets, and built-in microphones are not permitted
Computer with Intel Core i5, 6th generation or newer
Webcam with 720p or 1080p resolution
Updated Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox browser
