About the role

- Use consecutive interpretation techniques
- Maintain professionalism, impartiality, confidentiality, and accuracy
- Complete recruitment, technical verification, and client onboarding requirements before the assigned start date
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least six months of verifiable professional experience providing remote English-Spanish OPI and/or VRI interpretation
- Advanced English fluency at a minimum C1 level, with strong spoken and written communication skills
- Native or native-level Spanish fluency, with excellent comprehension and active listening skills
- Ability to deliver accurate, complete, impartial, and professional consecutive interpretation
- Strong knowledge of medical, financial, and social service terminology
- Understanding of patient privacy, confidentiality, and HIPAA-related requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, active listening, emotional composure, and ability to remain neutral in sensitive situations
- Commitment to attendance, schedule adherence, quality standards, and established operating procedures
- Ability to work independently in a quiet, professional environment with a reliable wired internet connection
- Stable, reliable internet connection with an Ethernet cable connected directly to the router or modem; Wi-Fi is not permitted
- Approved, client-compatible USB headset; Bluetooth headsets, mono headsets, and built-in microphones are not permitted
- Headset must meet the client's technical specifications and approval requirements
- Intel Core i5, 6th generation or newer
- Webcam with 720p or 1080p resolution
- Updated Chrome, Safari, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox browser
- Quiet, distraction-free space suitable for confidential interpretation sessions
- Availability to complete recruitment, technical verification, and client onboarding before the assigned start date
