About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Process bookkeeping and prepare VAT returns and other outsourcing deliverables, including sales and purchase ledger functions
  • Support the successful delivery of client assignments, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time
  • Build strong client relationships and act as a day-to-day contact for queries
  • Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and monitor deadlines
  • Attend client meetings and gain exposure to a variety of industries and businesses
  • Work closely with Seniors, Managers, and Directors to deliver an excellent client experience
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and add value for clients
  • Support and collaborate with other junior team members where appropriate

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Punctual, responsible and reliable
  • Demonstrate a “can do attitude”
  • AAT level 1 - 2
  • Maths & English GCSE - C or equivalent
  • Xero/QuickBooks experience
