  • Comply with local, state and federal regulations and report illegal activity
  • Reinforce food safety, sanitation and safety regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store management
  • Perform ordering functions with wholesalers
  • Manage inventory, control, and ordering of medications, devices, supplements, and supplies
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations and customer waiting areas
  • Count, measure, and prepare specified products
  • Complete billing procedures
  • Answer and triage phone calls and inquiries
  • Handle vendor coupons, cash shortages, and shrink guidelines
  • Operate the cash register and process electronic, cash, and check transactions
  • Provide customer service through reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing
  • Assist the pharmacist except in responsibilities requiring professional judgment
  • Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies
  • Support company health and wellness initiatives
  • Put away legend orders, including Central Fill deliveries
  • Work cooperatively in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational, and cooperative manner
