About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Execute corporate commodity strategies across CAPEX and MRO, including capital equipment, machinery, maintenance and repair materials, spare parts, facility-related equipment, and technical services
Identify, evaluate, qualify, implement, and manage suppliers within the assigned commodity portfolio
Support supplier performance evaluations, supplier reviews, audits, and development of alternative and competitive supply sources
Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, delivery conditions, warranties, agreements, and NDAs
Manage sourcing and procurement through competitive bidding, commercial evaluation, contract negotiation, purchase order execution, supplier implementation, and ongoing contract and supplier management
Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Manufacturing, Facilities, Project Management, Quality, Finance, and other internal stakeholders
Develop and execute CAPEX and MRO sourcing strategies
Manage RFQs/RFPs and competitive bidding processes
Identify cost reduction and cost avoidance opportunities
Support CAPEX projects from sourcing through equipment delivery and implementation
Improve MRO spend visibility and drive supplier and SKU consolidation
Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery, and commercial competitiveness
Ensure compliance with corporate procurement policies and approval requirements
Conduct supplier development, market analysis, spend analysis, benchmarking, strategy development, supplier meetings, negotiations, claims and invoice deviation handling, and plant strategy implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree OR high school diploma with at least 5 years of related business experience
Prefer a minimum of 2 years in a purchasing environment with commodity responsibility
Knowledge of SAP Applications, Power BI, and MS Office Suite
Knowledge of business administration and relevant policies, directives, guidelines, and standards
General social skills, teamwork, customer orientation, learning aptitude, problem-solving, project management, time and self-management, coordination, organization, communication, and negotiation skills
