About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Gather application functionality and non-functional requirements
Convert requirements into overall IT infrastructure designs and implementation solutions for client business services
Analyze and right-size the customer's environment for future needs
Design and implement infrastructure on public cloud AWS
Migrate virtual and physical infrastructure from the as-is environment to newly built AWS infrastructure
Craft infrastructure migration strategies, principles, and high-level and low-level design documents
Create AWS Landing Zones following the AWS CAF perspective
Perform FinOps assessments
Design and deploy cloud-based Disaster Recovery solutions
Design and implement hybrid cloud setups, networking, security, and integrations
Evaluate and recommend infrastructure solutions for seamless business-services migration
Ensure appropriate IT practices and measures are in place

Requirements

What you’ll need

12+ years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud build projects, cloud migration/transformation, and Active Directory migration
Minimum 6+ years of experience with IaC, automation, and DevOps tools
Terraform and Ansible
Hands-on experience in shell scripting
Experience with hybrid cloud setup, network integrations, networking, and security
Experience integrating SaaS offerings, especially infrastructure, IAM, and Azure AD
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware Infrastructure 4.x/5.x/6.x
Experience with VMware Licensing, Hyper-V 2008R2/2012R2, System Center Virtual Machine Manager, and Microsoft Licensing
Knowledge of AWS networking, security, computing, storage, and Disaster Recovery services
Experience with migration tools and data replication tools
Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows 2008/2008R2/2012/2012R2 and Licensing
Active Directory Services and Failover Clustering Services
Technical knowledge of AD, LDAP, NTP, and SMTP services, including upgrades and migration
Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into robust, efficient, optimized, and cost-effective solutions
