About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Prepare cost estimates for plant engineering projects as the basis for plant design and project development
- Understand complex technical tender specifications
- Evaluate supplier quotations
- Develop sales strategies for products in collaboration with sales colleagues
- Work closely with experts in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and automation
- Maintain relationships with customers and suppliers
- Occasionally conduct on-site visits to customers and suppliers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in engineering or state-certified technician qualification in process engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field
- Strong commercial acumen
- Experience in project execution, ideally with municipal clients
- In-depth knowledge of VOB/A and VOB/B
- Knowledge of process engineering, pump technology, and water-related applications
- Ideally, professional experience in manufacturing or metalworking
- Focused, thorough, and reliable approach to work
- Strong communication skills when working with teams and customers
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Germany and rarely elsewhere in Europe
