About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary technical point of reference for SAP Build Process Automation, supporting the team in building, maintaining, and evolving automations.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, identify root causes, and troubleshoot automated processes.
- Develop, adjust, test, and optimize automations using SAP Build Process Automation.
- Define and promote best practices for automation development, architecture, testing, version control, and deployment.
- Analyze integrations between enterprise systems, APIs, services, and applications involved in automated processes.
- Propose technical improvements to increase the efficiency, reliability, scalability, and maintainability of solutions.
- Provide technical guidance to other professionals and support the resolution of complex issues and technical decisions.
- Participate in the analysis and validation of changes, ensuring the quality and stability of solutions in production.
- Act as a technical point of reference for the client, contributing to solution alignment and the definition of technical approaches.
- Support the evolution of automation architecture by evaluating technical alternatives and optimization opportunities.
- Promote knowledge sharing, technical documentation, and continuous improvement of solutions and development practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Solid hands-on experience with SAP Build Process Automation, including the development, maintenance, troubleshooting, and evolution of automations.
- Experience with Python, with a focus on automation.
- Knowledge of the platform's capabilities for modeling and executing automated processes, building workflows, and developing automations.
- Experience supporting applications, automations, or integrations in production environments.
- Knowledge of integrations between systems, REST APIs, web services, authentication mechanisms, and error handling in automated processes.
- Ability to investigate failures, analyze logs, identify root causes, and propose sustainable technical solutions.
- Experience defining technical approaches, applying development best practices, and evolving enterprise solutions.
- Ability to act as a technical point of reference, guide professionals, and support decisions related to solution architecture and implementation.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems, change management, code version control, and technical documentation.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, autonomy, and the ability to interact with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
- Preferred: Knowledge of Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
- Preferred: Understanding of integrations, programming languages such as Python or JavaScript, and Agile methodologies.
- Preferred: Exposure to intelligent automation, AI, and AI agents applied to enterprise processes.
