About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the reporting roadmap, including report schemas and data pipelines
- Run PI planning with epics, story-point sizing, sprint mapping, and confidence votes
- Manage cross-team dependencies and negotiate blockers
- Drive delivery on regulatory and compliance mandates, including fee simplification, fee label mapping, and IFPA reporting requirements
- Sanity-check technical discussions on schema changes, regression testing, batch uploads, and reconciliation
- Prioritize a security backlog, distinguishing remediation from mitigation
- Coordinate infrastructure dependencies such as Java version upgrades
- Present status and tradeoffs to legal, compliance, executive, and other non-engineering stakeholders
- Reimagine and improve reporting processes through structuring, automation, and simplification
Requirements
What you’ll need- Direct SAFe or scaled Agile experience running PI planning, epics, and cross-team dependency tracking
- Strong Jira fluency, including epic structure and dependency tables across teams
- Background in payments, card network processing, or financial settlement systems
- Experience running mandate-driven or compliance-driven roadmaps in banking, fintech, healthcare, or similar regulated environments
- Exposure to data or reporting pipelines, BI-adjacent team leadership, or schema change management
- Experience managing multiple parallel teams and backlogs at once
- Comfort using Claude Code or similar AI coding tools
- Bachelor’s Degree required; alternatively, three years of specialized training and/or progressively responsible technology work experience for each missing year of college, in addition to the minimum experience required
