About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and support area managers and their teams in achieving their objectives
- Coordinate field activities and station operations to ensure they are carried out effectively
- Plan activities, set priorities, and ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure the quality of agronomic activities in accordance with group standards
- Optimize the use of human, material, and budgetary resources
- Work closely with breeders and support functions
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and biosafety requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practices, organization, and station performance
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant experience managing agronomic activities, crop production, or working in an agricultural or agro-industrial environment
- Proven experience leading and supervising operational teams
- Ability to organize, coordinate, and advance multiple activities simultaneously
- Confidence in decision-making and prioritizing competing demands
- Strong knowledge of agronomy and crop production
- Leadership, strong organizational skills, and the ability to support and develop teams
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in a cross-functional environment
- A continuous-improvement mindset and a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approach
- Ability to communicate in English in an international professional environment
- Higher education degree in agronomy, agriculture, or a related field, or equivalent experience
