About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyse internal stakeholder requirements and translate them into architectural and technical solutions
- Conduct preliminary feasibility studies and develop initial design proposals within budget, timeline and quality constraints
- Develop architectural concepts and technical studies through project completion
- Prepare technical specifications, tender documentation and detailed construction drawings
- Ensure compliance with urban planning, environmental and building regulations
- Prepare and submit planning and environmental permit applications and liaise with relevant authorities
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on project design and implementation
- Coordinate architectural aspects with construction teams, technical installation specialists and space planning teams
- Monitor project progress, identify challenges and propose solutions
- Collect and analyse project information and prepare progress reports and summaries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree in Architecture
- Registered with the relevant professional Architects' Association (Order of Architects)
- At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role
- Experience preferably involving commercial buildings, retail environments or professional space planning projects
- Strong expertise in architectural design, technical documentation and administrative procedures related to construction projects
- Solid understanding of regulations governing construction, renovation and building transformation projects
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate functional requirements into practical architectural solutions
- Well-organised, detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with stakeholders from different professional backgrounds
- Autonomy, proactive approach and strong coordination skills
- Proficient in Dutch and/or French, with a good command of the other language
- Excellent proficiency in Dutch considered a significant advantage
