About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot network problems within an operations center using network management and monitoring tools
- Monitor network alarm conditions to proactively identify and minimize disruption and impact to end users
- Perform root cause analysis and determine action plans for restoring customer services
- Coordinate with internal L3Harris teammates and external telecommunication partners to follow operational processes and improve restoration times
- Coordinate with the User Community, Field Services Group, and telecommunication partners for Break/Fix actions and Change Management activities
- Document Trouble Tickets and Change Requests for related activities
- Work in a 24x7 network control environment, including weekends and holidays
- Support short-term emergency evacuation to local or remote backup facilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Networking, or Information Technology, or have completed a Bachelor’s degree within the last 12 months
- Ability to work in a 24x7 network control environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays when needed
- Ability to support short-term emergency evacuation to local or remote backup facilities
