About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support management of programs and projects across L3Harris IEC RTS organizations
- Perform Cost Account Management duties with Program Management, Engineering, Contracts, and financial management personnel
- Meet with internal stakeholders to execute assigned program/project tasks
- Report project financial status and issues to RTS and SP23 Program Managers
- Manage financial performance of assigned projects
- Support generation and conduct of Internal Program Review (IPR) materials
- Develop Project Variance Analysis
- Review project forecasts and maintain program/project financial and man-hour expenditures
- Maintain financial and man-hour accruals, expenditures, and related Earned Value reporting
- Interface between program managers and financial analysts regarding financial and budget performance for assigned SP23 Shipboard Systems
- Review project financial data and prepare charts for monthly Internal Program Reviews and initial Program Baseline Reviews
- Attend and lead financial status reviews and brief senior leaders
- Support Integrated Product Team meetings, Internal Program Reviews, forecast development, and related CAM efforts
- Serve as interface between Finance, Program Management, and Contracts organizations
- Support contract development and execution and coordinate with Engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 2 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum 8 years of prior related experience
- Active US Secret Security Clearance
- Experience and knowledge with implementation and use of EVMS in program execution
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to perform financial/man-hour expenditure tasks across assigned projects
- Familiarity with financial accounting systems and ability to identify trends in financial data
- Advanced experience using COBRA, MS Project, PowerPoint, and similar tools for database access and data manipulation
- Experience with fundamentals of project planning and cost/schedule integration
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent demanding deadlines
- Ability to interface effectively with remote personnel
- Capability to support contract development and contract execution of tasking
- Demonstrated ability to work with and lead multiple support organizations, including Engineering, procurement, and supply chain teams
- Ability to support long-range planning
