About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Grow L3Harris’ Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) business with domestic Department of War and homeland customers
  • Own customer relationships and identify and shape opportunities for the ForceX and C-UAS portfolio within the Targeting and Sensor Systems sector
  • Understand the role of Department of War agencies and Federal Enforcement in C-UAS efforts
  • Navigate C-UAS funding and contract pathways, including PPBE and budget exhibits, urgent needs, Middle Tier Acquisition, OTAs, CSOs, IDIQ task orders, marketplace listings, and FMS touchpoints
  • Identify, shape, and qualify new C-UAS opportunities to increase orders, sales, and revenue
  • Manage accounts and relationships with new and existing customers and build contacts across government, prime, and industry partners
  • Develop and maintain the opportunity pipeline in Microsoft Dynamics CRM
  • Frame Price-to-Win, PWin, and key discriminators for pursuits and support business cases and phase gate reviews
  • Deliver qualified pursuits to the capture and proposal organization through the common capture process and remain engaged through award
  • Maintain expert knowledge of the UAS business and portfolio
  • Track the domestic C-UAS competitive landscape
  • Translate VAMPIRE and adjacent ForceX/Aeromet capabilities into customer-specific value propositions and discriminators

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, or Graduate Degree and minimum 7 years of prior related experience, or minimum 13 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
  • Active Secret level security clearance
  • Must be available to travel more than 50% of the year
  • Strong working knowledge of common capture processes
  • Experience leading new business pursuits
  • Demonstrated ability in competitive analysis, customer analysis, win strategy development, proposal and color team leadership, and price-to-win analysis
  • Disciplined, self-starting professional able to bring projects to closure with minimum direction, guidance and oversight
  • Exceptional leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Expert knowledge of the UAS business and portfolio
  • Knowledge of the domestic C-UAS competitive landscape, including incumbent primes, non-traditional and venture-backed entrants, fielded systems, teaming, and pricing behavior
