About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support concept of operation development and requirements analysis, decomposition, and generation at various levels of the system
- Develop and implement MBSE methodologies and frameworks to support engineering projects
- Conduct systems modeling and simulation to analyze system performance and validate requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and alignment of MBSE practices
- Provide leadership and technical guidance in the application of MBSE across the organization
- Conduct training and mentoring for engineering staff on MBSE tools and best practices
- Design, develop, integrate, test, and deliver critical space-based remote sensing systems to customers
- Coordinate teams of technical personnel
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
- In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
- Professional experience in MBSE tools such as MagicDraw, Rhapsody, or Enterprise Architect
- Professional experience working in Aerospace/Space design environment
- Ability to obtain a US Government TS/SCI Security Clearance
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or similar certification (preferred)
- Experience with SysML (Systems Modeling Language) (preferred)
- Prior experience in the aerospace or defense industry (preferred)
